Our main goal is to breed SMALL Hunting Terriers .Over 35 yrs breeding experience with Patterdale/Fell types and counting.I dont use any adults that weigh over 18lbs and really rather they not be that big. Most all mine are now in the 10--12 lb range. Never seen one too small seen lots too big
Look for three things when dealing with a person-Intelligence,energy,and integrity. IF they dont have the last one, dont even bother with the first two.
PH 931-389-9565 call anytime but nights are best Please BEFORE 10 PM Central Time OR email dfmjjm@bellsouth.net
The coolest cleanest water comes from the head of the stream. Our lines are not watered down with Pitt and staffs. Think about that when looking for SMALL working terriers.

Mason's Patterdale/Fell Terriers Phone# 931-389-9565 NO TEXT MESSAGES..Land line only... AGAIN NO TEXT MESSAGES....
PLEASE DONT CONTACT ME ASKING ABOUT THE BLOODLINES, ETC ON DOGS(PUPS) YOU HAVE GOTTEN FROM OTHER PEOPLE. LOTS OF PEOPLE TELL OTHERS THEY GOT A DOG FROM ME..I DONT KNOW MOST OF THE TIME EXACTLY WHAT DOG AND ETC.
IF YOU HAVE BOUGHT FROM SOMEONE ELSE>>>ASK THEM. I dont want to get in the mix.
Never pay(or pickup) a pup from any breeder unless you get the Paperwork on Both Reg Parents that day.Ive heard too many stories about someone who bought a pup and never got the pedigrees(they said they would mail) on the parents in order to register the pups.
All I ask of anyone is just to do what we agree upon..thats what I'm going to do...IF you dont plan on carrying out your part of the bargain do not contact me. PLEASE! Life is too short for foolishness.
Ive tried for all these yrs to be straight up and honest with people..Seems folks dont understand ..so Ive cut back a little due to my age and do not plan to breed as many as I once did..DOGS are NO problem but people are becoming more and more of a problem...LOTS of talk but NO action.Im tired of wasting my time. DO NOT CONTACT ME IF YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT STAFFS OR PITTBULLDOGS..I dont have em.Plenty of breeders on the Patterdale websites that have em. And are crossing them into their Patterdales. SO beware
READ THIS BEFORE CONTACTING ME http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patterdale_Terrier make SURE you are buying from someone who is interested in PROMOTING/UPGRADING the breed.

Thank you for coming by the websight. I plan on adding good pictures and stories in the near future so please check back.
I started hunting with the Jack Russell Terriers in the 1980's. Then, I was introduced to Patterdale/Fell Terriers by Dr. John Lowery. I bought Tarmac, Tiny, and Trixie (Nuttall bred dogs). I started getting more involved in the dogs and I bought Arnie and Crackers from Patrick O'Shea. Patrick had brought them over to work at the Irquois Hunt in Lexington, Kentucky. They were bred from the famous Cotswold Hunt in England. Patrick left again for England, this time leaving me five or six dogs I had bought from him. I was blessed to own these dogs. They have been the most exciting line of dogs I have had the pleasure of working with..Arnie died Jan-1-08...However I have line bred these dogs so close Arnie will live on for many generations. There is still lots of Nuttall Blood in most of my dogs.I had the upmost respect for Brian Nuttall, I admired his knowledge but MOST of all his integrity. I had the pleasure of having Brian visit my place years ago. I also went out to dinner with him once and got to ask him lots of questions. Will always treasure that memory.
